20 Quotes Written By Moi

I love quotes. I'm constantly scrolling through Pinterest, looking for ones that will motivate me or make me laugh. And I come across some that I wish I had come up with. And then I realized... why don't I make up my own? Maybe one of my quotes could be someone's senior quote. (My high school didn't do senior quotes the year I graduated, and I'm still a little bitter.) Okay, back to the point. Here's what I have to say:
1) "If I burn a bridge, it means I'm building a better one."
2) "Be careful. Behind those pearly whites could be a pair of fangs."
3) "When confronted with nonsense, walk away. Because prison cells are tiny, and you can't even leave for the restroom as a reprieve."
4) "Why does the light have to be at the end of the tunnel? Can't it be on the other side of an overpass or something?"
5) "Two things I hate: beer and viruses. Corona, you're both."
6) "Sometimes, I think that people say, 'Life isn't fair,' to excuse their bad behavior."
7) "If you're fake and you know it, you won't clap your hands. But you'll surely show it at some point."
8) "When life hands you lemons, throw one at the person with the sour attitude."
9) "We live for ourselves, not for others. And if others don't like it, we don't need them around us."
10) "Insecurity is strong, but stubbornness is a body-builder."
11) "I'll wait for what I want. I won't wait for what I deserve."

I've known for many years now that you can express yourself through writing, but I never imagined that these sporadic sentences would do that as well. This is a simple way for everyone to hone their writing skills while relaying their messages, sharing their stories, and/or being creative. I'd encourage all of you to give it a try!
